Camel milk versus goat milk which of the two types of milk is better?

Camel milk versus goat milk which of the two types of milk is better?

Camel milk VS goat milk which of the two types of milk is better?

Since milk arrived at our table, we can’t do without all kinds of dairy products in our lives.

The most common milk on the market today is cow’s milk, but goat’s milk and camel’s milk now have their place.

Do you know the difference between these two types of milk?

Which milk is the most nutritious?

The dietary guidelines for Chinese residents recommend drinking 300ml of milk every day or eating dairy products that are nutritionally equivalent to 300ml of milk.

So the question is: which milk is highly nutritious?

Goat’s milk

Goat’s milk is slightly whiter than cow’s milk. Powdered goat’s milk is the main form of product on the market. In comparison, sheep’s milk contains more complete nutrients, with more calcium, protein and vitamins. The calories per kilogram of goat’s milk are 210 kJ higher than those of cow’s milk, and the fat content is 3.6-4.5% (fat globules have a diameter of about 2 microns), which is easier to absorb. Goat’s milk is rich in short-chain fatty acids. Low-quality volatile fatty acids make up 25% of all fatty acids, while cow’s milk contains less than 10%. The mineral content of goat’s milk is 0.86%, which is about 0.16% more than that of cow’s milk.

Camel milk

The milk production of a camel is 2.5-3.5 kg per day, which is extremely low, less than a tenth of the milk production of cows. The color of camel milk is whiter and purer than cow’s milk and goat’s milk. The protein content and calcium content of camel milk is higher than that of cow’s milk and goat’s milk, and the protein content in camel dry matter is 3.55% to 4.47%. The rate of digestion and absorption of cow’s milk protein is generally 97% -98%, which is a complete protein. Camel’s milk contains 8 types of amino acids necessary for the human body, in a suitable proportion and higher than the amino acid content of cow’s milk. The fat content is lower than that of cow’s milk, and the vitamin C content is five times that of cow’s milk. Camel milk is high in iron and contains insulin-like factors, which can promote insulin secretion by the pancreas.

Cow’s Milk VS Goat’s Milk VS Camel’s Milk

First, let’s analyze the difference between camel milk and cow’s milk from the nutritional content of camel milk:

(1) Camel milk contains 5 times more vitamin C than cow’s milk. The vitamin C content of 100 ml of camel milk and the same amount of milk are 3.8 mg and 1.0 mg respectively.

(2) The fat content of camel milk is 2 times lower than that of cow’s milk.

(3) The iron content of camel milk is 10 times higher than that of cow’s milk and goat’s milk; the calcium content is twice that of cow’s milk; it is good for blood enrichment and promoting the development of human bones.

(4) Camel milk contains thousands of times more natural insulin than normal milk and goat milk; According to research, 1 liter of camel’s milk contains 52 units of insulin, while the same amount of cow’s milk contains only 0.016 units of insulin.

(5) The lactose content of camel’s milk is several times lower than that of cow’s and goat’s milk, it is weakly sensitized and suitable for people with lactose intolerance.

(6) Camel milk contains long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are beneficial for improving the activity of human brain cells and improving memory and thinking ability.

(7) The camel lives in an extremely hostile environment, so its immune system is very strong, and camel milk is also very useful in improving human immunity. In Arab countries where there are more camels and some countries in Africa, camel milk is a drink strongly recommended by nutritionists and doctors.

(8) The fertility of Arab women is relatively high, which would be linked to the regular consumption of camel milk.

(9) In many parts of the world, camel milk is also used as a tonic; it is believed to have the function of nourishing the yin and strengthening the yang.

Camel milk the popular beverage of celebrities

Camel milk the fashionable drink of celebrities

It is considered a food of incredible nutritional value, thanks to its content of vitamin C, calcium and iron. it has become fashionable among public figures.

& nbsp;

Every year, an endless number of foods that we could never have imagined appear on the market. Have you heard of camel milk ?

A historical food

Although we now find it strange to drink camel milk, the truth is that in many Arab and African countries it has been consumed in large quantities since time immemorial. In fact, it is one more ingredient in the preparation of other dairy products like butter, cheese or yogurt. Some brands are even turning to it to produce their ranges of cosmetics . The reason for this reputation was revealed by a group of scientists, who discovered the power that camel milk had in reducing the risk of extremely serious diseases such as diabetes or certain types of cancer.

& nbsp;

Thus, after the results of several scientific journals which certify its nutritional value – greater than that of cow’s milk -, camel milk has become one of the flagship products of the Western market. So much so that different chains in the supermarkets United Kingdom have dared to market it. This warm welcome is already a reality thanks to the visibility given to it also by some of the most recognized celebrities on the international scene, such as Kim Kardashian , who shared the experience through her Instagram profile. < / p>

Moreover, despite what many may believe, in Spain we are no strangers to this trend. In Fuerteventura, there is the Oasis Park zoological complex, the largest camel population in all of Europe , coming directly from Africa 500 years ago. This served as an object of study at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, which since 2004 analyzes the properties of the said drink. And it seems the results are most telling. What qualities does camel milk have in store for us?

Against allergies and diabetes

According to the Food and Drug Administration of the United States, camel milk has a total of 48 calories per 100 grams of product, that is, a very interesting drink for those who want to take care of their line. In addition, it has in its ranks nutrients so necessary for our body such as vitamins A, B and C , calcium, iron and potassium. All this collection of values leads to a series of very attractive advantages:

& nbsp;

As we have seen previously, camel milk is an excellent ally in reducing the effects of diabetes . A study published in the prestigious ‘European Journal of Clinical Nutrition’ found that children with diabetes who made up the sample and who drank camel milk saved between 9 and 13 units of insulin per day . And it is that this drink has properties similar to this hormone.

& nbsp;

Remember also that this powerful elixir is able to help us ward off certain food allergies . As is known, cow’s milk causes this reaction in many children due to the beta-lactoglobulin and beta-casein that it includes in its composition. Two proteins that are not part of camel milk. And not only that, it also strengthens organic defenses .

In some places it is normal to drink unpasteurized camel milk, which contains a multitude of pathogens

& nbsp;

The fatty acids it contains, in particular conjugated linoleic acid , have very positive effects on cancer patients . However, this is an area that still has a long way to go to be 100% confirmed.

& nbsp;

On the other hand, sodium helps us to strengthen our muscles, firm , to appear more toned and certain parts of the body. As long as it is supplemented by regular physical exercise.

& nbsp;

And last but not least, vitamin B shares its antioxidant power by promoting the proper functioning of the digestive system , preserving the cognitive function of the brain, reducing the risk of coronary heart disease , by improving the joints and helping us control stress and anxiety. other functions.

Meticulous!

These properties and its incredible flavor, sweeter and more fluid than that of cow’s milk, also coexist with some contraindications. For example, camel milk is often unpasteurized . The San Luis Institute of Medicine for Nature (ICM) studied the consumption of camel milk in northern Kenya – where 10% of the population drink this unpasteurized drink – finding a series of agents pathogens of animal origin in its composition. In addition, the virus has been found in the drink in some cases the origin of Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS). Fortunately, the camel milk that arrives in our country has passed all the sanitary controls established by the competent authorities.

Camel milk prevents inflammation

Camel milk prevents inflammation

Camel milk prevents inflammation

Camel milk contains lipids which can inhibit inflammation. The results of the corresponding study are published in the journal Functional Foods in Health and Disease .

The product has a positive effect on inflammation caused by glycated proteins, which are toxic compounds caused by sugar. They damage tissue and play a major role in the development of diabetes and heart disease.

According to the researchers, the lipids in camel milk can inhibit inflammation by reducing the expression of certain pro-inflammatory molecules.

As an immune response, inflammation is triggered when damaged cells release chemicals that cause damage or infection. Under normal conditions, the inflammatory process is even beneficial and goes away on its own. But if the process is delayed, damage to cells and DNA can occur, which will lead to serious illnesses, for example, cardiovascular disease or cancer.

Scientific interest in camel milk has increased due to reports of its anti-diabetic properties. The drink contains lipids and proteins, including immunoglobulins (antibodies) and vesicles (liquid enclosed in a lipid membrane), as well as various nutrients. Experts have found out whether the lipids in camel milk can affect inflammation, which is common in people with diabetes.

Chronic inflammation is a common feature of type 2 diabetes. In these patients, abdominal fat around the waist causes inflammation, leading to the development of insulin resistance. It is believed that a type of immune cell macrophage is involved in this process. The researchers decided that the lipids in camel milk could regulate the inflammation of macrophages, which is triggered by glycated proteins, by affecting the proteins that trigger the inflammatory response.

Due to its ability to reduce the intensity of inflammation, camel milk can be considered a superfood, argue the authors of the article.

How camel milk became a golden engine in Somalia

How camel milk became a golden engine in Somalia

How camel milk became a golden engine in Somalia

It must be a weird feeling to Muse Warsame Xirsi, 80 years old. He started caring for camels at the age of fourteen, just like his father and grandfather. All this hard work has never paid off j until now: suddenly camel milk s turns out to be a lucrative business!

Mr. Xirsi says: “I used to walk my camels in this dry area and no one wanted to buy the milk.

Now we sell it

span> good . Our life has never been so beautiful!

Mr. Xirsi is one of fifteen camel herders participating in a Kaalo Foundation project. He comes from a typical nomadic family. He lives on milk and meat, the animals live on the little vegetation that grows in this arid landscape.

When the grass is not no longer there, the whole family packs their bags and heads for another place.

A civil war, but certainly also climate change, make it much more difficult as it gets hotter and drier in Somalia.

Camels were used to it, but now there is hardly any food to be found. And thin camels give little milk.

Permanent residence “Nomadic existence has in fact become impossible for these farmers, ”says Abdisalam Ali of the Kaalo Foundation. “We are now offering fifteen farmers and their families a permanent place to live, where the camels can be properly fed and receive enough water. “

With the support of Wilde Ganzen, milk tanks, steel milk cans and a van were purchased. Because camel herders cannot sell their milk in their own area, but in Garowe town several kilometers away there are enough people who would like to buy fresh camel milk.

So there are opportunities!

Farmers have implemented a cooperative, the camel’s milk is immediately cooled at home and transported to Garowe by van. Hope for a better future

“Now that our animals have a better food, they give more milk, ”says farmer Hamdi Osman Alule.

“Before, I had three camels which gave a few glasses of milk a day, now I have 21 camels which together give more than forty glasses of milk.

This is more than double the yield! And where I used to settle for 20 cents a glass, now I get a dollar a glass. A shop has been set up in the city, run by two women. Milk is in high demand, which also makes it a great job project. Mr. Xirsi can confidently pass his camels down to the next generation. There is hope again for a better future.

Camel’s milk is gradually supplanting cow’s milk from its throne in Pakistan to find a prominent place on the podium next to him with the growing discourse about his health benefits, which is increasing the number of his drinkers every day compared to the previous one.

The sight of Bedouins selling fresh camel milk from an udder of camel for a roadside drinker has become common in many cities in Pakistan.

Somalia and Saudi Arabia are currently at the top of the list of camel milk producing countries.

Camel milk producers are looking to open new markets for it in countries like Kenya, Australia and the United States. A Pakistani man from Karachi who regularly drinks camel milk, Noor Nabi Shah, says drinking it regularly cured his liver disease.

“I had liver problems,” Shah told Reuters TV when ‘he bought camel milk in a store. It has already helped me. My liver was in poor condition and seems to be working fine at the moment. The analyzes were carried out in the laboratory. The results are good now.

Camels are known for their ability to resist and produce milk in the conditions the most difficult of the desert. The number of camels in the world is estimated at 18.58 million, including around one million camels raised in the desert areas of Pakistan.

Jordanians invest in camel milk < / p>

Two young men bought 6 heads and set up their project on Airport Road

Salem Abu Al Fil: I brought camels from the desert to Oman for the milk for those who wanted

Amman – Asaad Al-Azouni:

While strolling in particular on Jordan Street, where are spread out villas and immense modern buildings , you are attracted by the presence of a tent next door, many camels, and with it a Sudanese expatriate who takes care of them, milks them and sells their milk to citizens.

There are also two young men, one a lawyer and the other a graduate in business administration, who decided to set up a new investment project of its kind. They bought 6 camel heads and chose the airport road as their investment location. The idea is to provide fresh camel milk for those who want it, as this project differs from others that you can drink milk directly from the udder of a camel.

Ali Ayed Al-Dahamshe said that the idea was part of his desire and of his partner to set up an investment project, stressing that many people preceded them to this idea, which is to sell camel milk, and that after a feasibility study they chose the airport road, which is characterized by a lot of movement on it and its diversity between Arabs and foreigners.

The banner visited a number of these sites, from Jordan Street to Ramtha in the north, and interviewed camel herders.

Muhammad Al-Sudani has stated that he is milking the camel for the first time at dawn and puts the milk in a refrigerator which he keeps outside his small tent, indicating that the customer is coming to order it, noting that the price of a liter reaches five dinars. , which is equivalent to seven and a half dollars.

He added that the demand is increasing day by day, indicating that the Camel milk when drunk for the first time causes confusion in the stomach, but becomes normal when drunk repeatedly.

< span style = “font-size: medium;”> While on tour of the flag a Mercedes car stopped and a man got out and asked for three liters of camel milk. Asked about the purpose of buying it, he replied that drinking it cured many diseases, as doctors say, especially cancer, diabetes, back pain and osteoporosis.

Young Salem Abu Al-Fol said he is investing in camels and sells their milk, and brings his camels from the outskirts of the desert to Amman and resides in the Jordan Street neighborhood near villas and huge buildings, indicating that he does so to alleviate the pain and suffering of patients who cannot not come to where he originally lived on the outskirts of the desert.

He added that some citizens were buying fresh milk, indicating that a camel was milking two to three times a day, and his milk quantity is estimated at around five liters, revealing that some citizens are contacting him two days ago to buy milk by the advice method.

Dr Mansour Shamry stated that there is a scientific study which found that the percentage of fat in it is lower than that of cow’s milk, and camel’s milk contains substances that are resistant to toxins and bacteria, and a large percentage of immune bodies that are resistant to disease, all the more that its milk is used by the Bedouins in the treatment of many diseases. .

He added that the camels grazing in the desert depend for their food on medicinal herbs, and that humans eat them with milk, and that some of these herbs are useful for abdominal diseases.

There are scientific studies indicating that give to people with stomach ulcers daily meals containing camel milk helps to cure them as it is an effective treatment, and it is also treatment for patients with duodenal ulcers and reduces the incidence of various cancerous tumors.

It is also considered a tonic for the body and eyesight compared to milk sheep, goat and cow, because the special fat it contains consists of short chain fatty acids, which confirms the importance of this milk in children’s diets, because the body uses these fatty acids with few carbon atoms to build other fatty compounds more easily than milk. Breaking down the long chains found in long chain fatty acids, which is why desert dwellers are eager to feed their children camel milk and often prefer it to breast milk.

Alternative medicine expert Dr Salem Al-Badawy said that Camel milk contains a large group of vitamins and minerals compared to breast milk and the rest of other animals. It contains chlorine, sodium, phosphate, calcium, nitrates, magnesium, potassium and iron, in addition to a group of vitamins.

In another context, Mahmoud Al-Sudani said that the strange and funny thing is that the camel is not milked except after calling the dialogue, which is the little camel for nursing first, then the camel is milked and her milk is placed in metal. containers and drunk hot, and if left later it should be boiled.

World Camel Day

World Camel Day

Why is World Camel Day on June 22?

& nbsp;

The camel is one of the most important farm animals for food security in the face of climatic disasters. It is sustainably farmed with the lowest ecological footprint and produces one of the unique foods, camel milk. Camel milk is considered the natural pharmacy.

Unfortunately, the camel is little praised and valued for its role as food security cattle. The camel is still neglected at all levels by policy makers and very little attention is paid to R & amp; D projects at national, regional and global levels.

The good thing is that the camel turns again to its original task, the milk camel. New camel dairies are emerging in both old and new camel habitats.

This feedback is mainly materialized by the efforts of the author and his colleagues, bringing the camel to all levels and making the research results understandable and practicable.

“The camel provides the subsistence of its guardians in difficult environments”.

Dr Younas

One of the most important milestones in these achievements is World Camel Day, June 22.

Dr Raziq

Why did we choose the date of June 22?

In its original habitat, June 21 is the longest and hottest day of the year in the northern hemisphere of the globe.

The camel maintains its productive capabilities in such harsh and hostile environments and adapts to the rising heat and long thirsty days. So we decided to skip the 21st and chosen June 22 as World Camel Day.

The difference in day length is only 2 seconds between June 21 and 22.

The virtues of camel milk

The virtues of camel milk

While the camel has been an animal exploited by nomadic peoples for millennia for its exceptional resistance to climatic conditions in the desert, their use of camel milk is less well known. However, its virtues for health are numerous!

1) An interesting food for diabetics

A study in India has shown that camel milk is made up of a specific protein that is similar to insulin. This protein is involved in regulating the level of glucose present in the blood of people suffering from diabetes and who regularly consume camel milk.

Richer than milk from cows, camel milk may be effective in improving the health of people with diabetes , those who suffer from a weak immune system or even cardiovascular problems . Camel milk would be the closest to breast milk in its composition. It would indeed meet human nutritional needs.

In nomadic society, camel milk is used to treat malnourished children.

2) Camel milk: an ally of the immune system

The proteins in camel’s milk are also able to fight against microbial invasions in the body. As a result, it supports the immune system by soliciting the immunoglobins present in its composition to neutralize bad germs.

Scientific research has shown that this milk can help people suffering from so-called autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis .

3) A food rich in iron

Camel milk contains 10 times more iron than cow’s milk in the same proportions.

It is for this reason that it ensures better oxygenation of the blood, allowing blood circulation to flow naturally and providing better immune resistance to people suffering from anemia.

4) Camel milk against allergies and lactose intolerance

People who are allergic and / or intolerant to lactose will also find their happiness in camel milk since it is non-allergenic and therefore effective in reducing their sensitivity.

5) A preventive food for heart disease

In the composition of camel milk, there are also complex fatty acids that improve the level of good cholesterol (LDL) in the body while reducing the presence of bad cholesterol (HDL).

Drinking camel milk would help prevent the risk of stroke, high blood pressure and heart disease.

6) A food that promotes digestion

People with fragile intestines or who have difficulty digesting may choose camel milk as it is very rich in probiotics, which are essential for healthy digestion.

A production promoting its benefits

Raised in its natural environment, the camel feeds mainly on the plants it encounters on its way, giving a particular quality to its milk. This contains nutrients that are not found in the milk of other animals such as cows or goats. It therefore brings more nutrients to our bones and organs.

Camel milk can be consumed in powder form, this does not change its virtues and its nutritional qualities. Transformed into powder, its transport and storage are more practical and allow us to consume it regularly despite its rarity.

Do not hesitate to learn more about the benefits of camel milk and to leave a comment if you have already tried!

Benefits of camel milk

Camel milk and its benefits

Many of my patients find that cow’s milk is difficult to digest due to lactose intolerance, which can lead to sensitivity during meals and small intestine discontent. This is because they lack large amounts of the enzyme lactase to process the predominant sugar in cow’s milk, lactose.

This intolerance to milk leads to bloating and diarrhea because the intestinal microbiota causes lactose sugar to ferment. While actual numbers may vary, the World Allergy Group estimates that cow’s milk allergy could affect up to 5% of people, with children being more likely to respond than adults.

Yet many people enjoy consuming milk, whether in smoothies, in meals or as a drink. Unfortunately, people who react to cow’s milk may also have reactions to goat’s and sheep’s milk.
One of the latest research has studied the reaction of 500 people to several types of milk, mammalian or non-dairy. Oddly enough, some people have even reacted to traditionally non-reactive milks like almond, soy and coconut milk!

So what’s left, you ask? The answer may shock you as much as it shocked me!
In the same survey, the researchers provided the information: camel milk, which was the second least reactive milk after human milk?!?

For hundreds of years, camel milk has been used in parts of Africa, Asia and the former Soviet Union. Despite the fact that throughout its history it lacked scientific validity, many have sworn by the therapeutic benefits of camel milk.

Right now we have this scientific validation. A great deal of research proves what people intuitively knew in the past: Camel milk offers many health benefits in addition to being a rich source of nutrients and antioxidants.
Camel milk is more nutritious than milk from cows, sheep and other animals, because it incorporates small amounts of lactose, milk sugar, with a higher fat content. Also, it is easier to digest because, unlike most conventional dairy products which incorporate the hard-to-digest A1 casein protein, camel milk consists of A2 casein, which your body can more easily break down. br>
Nutritionally, camel milk contains substantial concentrations of potassium, magnesium, copper, sodium, zinc, iron, B vitamins and vitamin C. All of the protein in camel milk is also superior to different sources.
These vitamins help fight chronic inflammation and oxidative stress induced by free radicals. As you already know from studying my other inflammation blogs, each of these circumstances play a key role in the majority of ailments, as well as digestive issues.
Most of the benefits of camel milk come from proteins, called immunoglobulins, which play a key role in immune well-being (as their identity suggests).
Due to their special structure, many immunoglobulins of lactating camels are available in milk. Researchers have found that these immunoglobulins are therapeutic for a number of diseases, as well as for most cancers, a number of sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease.

Camel milk ,cheese, soap

Milk, cheese, soap …: camel in all its sauces

Extract from an article by François Brey, Camelomane.

Published in the magazine Afrique Agriculture

The objective of the Maroc Vert plan is to reach 10,000 tonnes of camel milk in 2020, compared to around 5,000 tonnes today. Cheese and cosmetics also enhance this milk, which is rich in Omega 3 and vitamin C.

In the south of Morocco, Dakhla, formerly Villa Cisneros, in the days of the Spanish Sahara, has grown in a few decades from the size of a village with mud houses, as Saint Exupéry described it, to the role of a real regional metropolis with more than 100,000 inhabitants.
An almost essential step for Aéropostale pilots, Dakhla today claims to be a major axis of communication between Morocco and its depths of Africa. The city was also the scene of the city’s 2nd International Agricultural Fair, under the theme “Feed Africa, Feed the World” (September 26-29).
“In the desert, the camel is the master”
This Fair is part of the Green Morocco plan, one of the objectives of which is to develop agriculture in the southern provinces for an overall budget of 77 billion dirhams during the decade 2016-2025. The logo of the event: a tomato resting on the hump of a camel represents the two main areas of development of the region of Dakhla, a desert of steppes and dunes plunging into the Atlantic Ocean. It is the land of the Réguibats or Ouled Delim tribes, nomadizing with their camels from Western Sahara to Mauritania. The revaluation of camelids, long disdained by the public authorities, is now part of the development policy of this region.

The cover of the magazine & nbsp; The Voice of the House & nbsp; sets the tone with the catchphrase: & nbsp; “& nbsp;” In the desert, the camel is master “. At the Halib Dakhla dairy stand, camel’s milk is in the spotlight, packaged in half-liter cardboard packaging sold for 10 dirhams, almost double the amount of cow’s milk.
Milk hardly curdles
The Ajban Dakhla cooperative presents its vacuum-packed fresh cheese. Camel cheese is the flagship product of the fair. He was even rewarded with an honorary “Label Agricole”. on the occasion of Siam 2017.
Cheese making is difficult because camel milk struggles to curdle. Fortunately, the Hassan II Agronomic and Veterinary Institute in Rabat has developed a special rennet “camel milk”.

Today, the cooperative produces about twenty kilos per week, or 200 cheeses of 100 g sold for 25 dirhams each. The clientele is mainly made up of tourists, Moroccan or foreign. Carefully vacuum-packed, this is the “& nbsp; terroir & nbsp;” product ultimate. Not to mention its dietetic virtues: lactose less allergenic than that of cow’s milk, rich in omega 3 and 6 and vitamin C.
The annual production of camel milk at the regional level was estimated at 5,000 tonnes in 2008. Under the Maroc Vert plan, the objective is to reach 10,000 tonnes by 2020, plus 17 tonnes of cheese.
In cosmetics too
The camel is also making foray into the field of cosmetics with camel milk soap from the company Al Janoub de Laayoun or cream based on camel fat to relieve joint pain.

Intensive or extensive breeding?
One of the last events of the Fair was the screening of the Arte documentary “Les Superdromadaires du Désert”. This documentary, which presents modern aspects of breeding,
surprised the breeders present who practice extensive traditional breeding. The question on the legitimacy of raising the dromedary in intensive or semi-intensive breeding with the addition of fodder was raised. As is the use of the milking machine for camels as is done in the Middle East. The future will tell …

Camel milk, a new food trend for Californian hipsters

Camel milk, a new food trend for Californian hipsters

It is known, Californians are fond of healthy products, always more original. Their latest crush? Camel’s milk, native to North Africa. Decryption.

Right now

In the food trend category, the 2017 originality award goes to camel milk. A flagship food product for African nomadic populations, this nectar is harvested from the udder of the female. This drink wasted no time in conquering American soil thanks to the initiative of a young entrepreneur: Walid Abdul-Wahab.

Once upon a time there were two men

Hailing from Saudi Arabia, Walid had a brilliant idea. After partnering with Sam Hosteler, an Amish living in Vernon County in the United States, he decides to buy a deserted zoo and set up a rather unusual farm there. This will produce camel milk and will be called Desert Farm. Very quickly, the two farmers exported their product to the west coast of the country. The drink immediately seduced Californians, always in search of new trends.

A 100% healthy drink

A good alternative to cow’s milk, this nectar is more digestible, reduces the risk of food allergies and improves the immune system. It has a low amount of lactose, which helps reduce the risk of intolerance to this carbohydrate, found in cow’s milk. In addition to intestinal comfort, this drink is ten times richer in iron than cow’s milk and contains many nutrients: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium, vitamin B and C.

A taste similar to cow’s milk

“Its taste is very similar to that of dairy cows. It still differs from the latter by being slightly salty. It is a refreshing and smooth drink on the palate “, describes Walid Abdul-Wahab on the brand’s website. Depending on the presence of more or less weak lactose, it can be sweet or slightly bitter. “People who taste it for the first time are initially surprised, because they don’t know what to expect. Then they tell me that ultimately it looks like the milk they take every morning, “continues the creator of Desert Farm.

Adopt this new trend

From Californian rapper Haitian Fresh to blogger Fitfooding to fitness coach Dan Wells, American crossfit star, Californian celebrities have named camel milk the must drink of the year. Good news for France, since the authorization of the European Union in 2011, it has been marketed in Europe.

Since the early 2000s, camel milk has become increasingly popular as a therapy for autism.

What is the idea behind camel milk therapy for children with autism?

Proponents of camel milk therapy believe that many features of autism are caused by high levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS).

ROS are highly reactive molecules that are found naturally in the cells of our body. Research has shown that high levels of ROS can lead to many diseases, including cancer and autoimmune diseases. Antioxidants help lower ROS levels.

Camel milk contains a lot of antioxidants.

Proponents of camel milk as a therapy for autism claim that the antioxidants in camel milk can reduce ROS levels in children with autism. They say this in turn reduces the hallmarks of children’s autism.

Although scientific research supports the relationship between ROS and many diseases like cancer, there is no evidence that high levels of ROS cause autism. There is also no scientific evidence that consuming camel milk can reduce the features of autism .

Kidney failure and camel milk

Kidney failure and camel milk

Can people with kidney failure drink camel milk?

What is kidney failure and how harmful is it?

Renal failure refers to a clinical syndrome of progressive chronic damage to the renal parenchyma caused by various reasons, which results in severe narrowing of the kidney and cannot maintain its basic functions. The course of the disease is long, usually from a few years to more than ten years, and chronic renal failure is the severe stage. Chronic kidney disease affects various systems and organs and can cause a variety of clinical diseases such as water, electrolytes, acid-base balance disorders, disorders of sugar, fat, protein and metabolism. amino acids and system dysfunctions. The clinical manifestations are complex, the treatment is very difficult, and the death rate is extremely high.

Modern medicine primarily uses drugs, dialysis, artificial kidney transplantation, diet, and other methods to treat and maintain chronic kidney disease. Compared with previous treatment methods, diet therapy has no side effects and has gradually become a hotspot for research at home and abroad.

Reasonable diet can not only ensure the daily nutritional requirements of patients, but also promote patient recovery, but the effect is very slow and requires long-term adherence.

The Inner Mongolia Camel Research Institute has collected and summarized the domestic and foreign literature deficiency: on the use of camel milk to treat kidney Wang Jing and others took camel milk to recover 73 nephropathy patients, and showed that camel milk can treat kidney disease patients to some extent therapeutic effect. Li Jianmei, Pan Lei et al. proved that camel milk can treat kidney failure in rats based on Wang Jing et al., used different fermented camel milk to treat kidney failure in rats, and found that camel milk and probiotics affect rats. kidneys. Treatment of insufficiency has a good synergistic effect; Pan Lei, Wang Jing, and others used adenine to replicate the model of chronic renal failure in rats, and used camel milk as a test substance for the intragastric procedure. After 28 days of animal testing, it was shown that camel milk can reduce the levels of Scr and BUN in rats, slow UP, regulate the content of Ca and P, increase the levels of SOD and TP, and works to protect kidney function and relieve chronic kidney disease. failure. This is closely related to the rich deep bacterial enzymes, lactoferrin, immunoglobulin, and various nutrients found in camel milk.

Therefore, long-term consumption of camel milk can prevent and prevent the risk of kidney disease, and camel milk is a very good green food for patients with kidney disease.

Which camel milk to choose to treat kidney failure?

According to the research ideas of Li Jianmei and Pan Lei, we can choose Wangyuan Whole Fermented Pure Camel Milk Powder as well as Wangyuan Adult Probiotics (for the consumption method, please add WeChat: 156 8106 2528). Be careful not to choose the probiotic formula camel milk powder, as the Inner Mongolia Camel Research Institute reminded consumers as early as last year: formula camel milk, modified camel milk, protein powder. camel milk, etc. are not pure camel milk, there are too many additives, after eating It will increase the load on the kidneys and affect the recovery of people with kidney failure. And pay attention to a small amount when you start drinking, start drinking from 5 grams.

Kidney failure, especially in patients with chronic kidney disease, has low protein metabolism, but protein is the basic material of human life. She can’t miss. It is consumed all days and should be supplemented every day, especially the 9 essential amino acids. In cases of kidney failure, especially in people with chronic kidney disease, it is best to choose high-quality protein foods that contain these 9 essential amino acids when choosing foods.

“I fell in love with camels because my father recovered from their milk” – a trip to a camel farm in the steppes of central Fergana

The custom of raising animals has been formed in our people since ancient times, and it is done with love and care. There is not a single house in the villages where there are no cattle. At least they’re raising chickens. Caring for animals is an additional source of income for the family.

This time our story will be about the agricultural activities of Asrorzhon Khikmatov, who has been engaged in herding camels for several years in the steppes of central Fergana in the Rishtan district of the Fergana region.

We visited the farm to get acquainted with the peculiarities of breeding camels, with the daily work of agricultural workers.

We have learned that camels are milked 3 times a day: at sunrise, at noon and in the evening. We really wanted to watch the morning milking process, so we left for Rishtan, as soon as dawn broke.

The farm workers warmly greeted us and took us to the camels. We had to travel a considerable distance from the workers’ habitation to the camel stable.

The farm workers carefully washed the camel’s udder and began to milk from both sides. At that time, camels also ate milk.

“Several years ago my father got sick, he was bedridden for a long time. On the advice of people, I started giving him camel milk and he recovered. Then I fell in love with camels. The father still drinks this milk. Abu Ali ibn Sina in his book “The Canons of Medicine” dwelled on the healing properties of camel milk, which contains three times more vitamins than cow’s milk. Avicenna’s words turned out to be true. I was convinced that camel’s milk cured many diseases by the example of my father, ”explains Asrorjon Hikmatov, president of the Roshidon nasldor tuyalari farm.

We didn’t have time to look back when the workers milked 4 camels and took them to endless pastures. The camels were given hay. We followed the camels slowly walking towards the thickets of camel thorns …

“In 2013, I brought the first camel from the Kungrad region to Karakalpakstan. I like camels more than other animals. I can’t imagine my life without them. Since 2013, I have been with them, day and night. In total, I have 31 heads, including 27 women and 4 men, ”said Asrorzhon Hikmatov.

According to the workers, the day before we arrived, a camel named Komila had a baby camel. Interestingly, each camel has its own name and they respond to it.

“People come to us for healing milk from the regions, from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, sometimes from Russia. They bring in patients with diabetes mellitus and liver disease. Basically, camel milk cleanses the blood. We plan to conclude an agreement with Turkmenistan and increase the number of camels to 100 in the future. A liter of camel milk now costs 35,000 soums. Basically, it is bought for medicinal purposes. We give free milk to critically ill patients in need, ”explains the president of the farm.

As in every field, it also has its own characteristics. During the day spent on the farm, we became convinced that camel breeding is very interesting.

“In fact, a camel can give up to 10 liters of milk a day. But our camels give 2 liters each. Because we don’t give them extra food. Camels feed on camel thorns in the pasture. If they are fed more, they will have more milk, but its healing properties will be lost. Unlike other animals, camels are very intelligent. But they need food, like five cows. Basically, they’re insatiable, ”smiles Asrorjon Hikmatov.

According to him, camels not only provide milk, but also wool, which is much appreciated: “1 kg of camel’s wool costs 50 dollars. They make pillows, blankets, clothes out of them. In the future, we intend to start exporting wool. “

Asrorjon Hikmatov told us that if a camel gives birth to a white camel, then it is a real vacation, because white camels are considered unique and are born extremely rarely.

“I also have a white camel. These camels are very expensive. It’s very valuable to me, so I didn’t sell it even for 50 thousand dollars.

Everything comes from God. I have 9 workers, I pay them their salaries, I provide for 9 families, ”he said.

So our day at the camel farm is over, it’s time to come back. We wished the farmer success in his work, and that his love for animals does not fade …

The importance of camel milk immunoglobulins for the human body

The importance of camel milk immunoglobulins for the human body

The camel, an animal “immigrant” from the Americas, has perfectly demonstrated its tenacious vitality and its particular biological characteristics in Asia, Europe and Africa. Camels have strong tolerance to cold and heat, tolerance to thirst and hunger, strong feeding ability, adaptability to sandy soil, high blood sugar tolerance, rare detoxification ability and a very sensitive sense of smell.

In recent years, biologists around the world have explored the mystery of camels and discovered that the rich immunoglobulin in camel milk is the much sought-after nano-antibody, and that all vertebrates contain only camels and Sharks. Only this rare nanobody is contained in the camel. milk in mammals.

As we all know, as long as all organisms have strong immunity, their resistance to diseases and self-healing ability will be very strong, and how to improve immunity has always been the tireless pursuit of the profession medical. While there are many foods that can improve immunity around the world, the only food rich in nano-antibodies like camel milk is camel milk.

So what is the difference between the nanobodies rich in camel milk and ordinary antibodies? That is, the nano-antibody contained in camel milk has small size, unique structure, high affinity and high stability, and has strong cell / vascular penetration and binding capacity to l antigen. It can reach many traditional antibodies which are difficult to reach.Special area. Ordinary antibodies cannot penetrate tumor tissue and vascular barriers, so their effect is greatly reduced.

When the nano-antibody in camel milk builds a strong immune system from the deep layers of our body, the body’s self-healing system will be activated and the body tissues will gradually recover their function under the powerful system self-healing, and finally achieve the extended lifespan of the disease.

Therefore, the rich immunoglobulin contained in camel milk has an irreplaceable effect on the human body
